3 Types of Portable Restrooms

When most people think about portable restrooms, they automatically think of those shabby stalls in concerts, carnivals, music festivals, and construction sites. However, portable restrooms have evolved significantly over the last few years and can be used for all kinds of events nowadays.

You don’t have to settle for those lower-quality portable restroom stalls that most people dread. Instead, here are some types of portable restrooms that you can opt for if you’re planning on hosting an event.

  • Standard Portable Restroom

These are the portable restrooms that you’re likely used to. The standard portable restrooms come with basic facilities, such as a toilet, toilet paper, and hand sanitizer. However, they generally don’t have running water or flushing capabilities. That being said, if you rent the units from a good company, they will keep the portable restroom stall clean throughout the event.

  • Luxury Portable Restroom

Luxury or VIP portable restrooms are bigger than standard portable restrooms. Depending on where you rent the stalls from, these restrooms come with a range of added features. For starters, they have running water and a flush.

Additionally, they might come with a sink, mirror, and baby changing station. The more expensive luxury restrooms also have light fixtures, air conditioning, and other features that make them comparable to an actual bathroom in a high-end restaurant. These are more suitable for more formal events such as weddings and corporate gatherings.

  • Handicap Accessible

You can also find portable restrooms that are ADA-compliant. These are more spacious and user-friendly than regular portable restrooms, which can accommodate people with disabilities. Ideally, you should always have at least one handicap accessible at your events. You may or may not have a guest who would need it, but it is better to be prepared anyway.

There you have it; these are the main types of portable restrooms you can rent. So make your decision accordingly.
