For the past two years, the Miami Book Fair has attempted to go virtual, in large part due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While there’s certainly a time and place for a virtual literary festival, there’s nothing quite like meeting your favorite authors and learning about up-and-coming literature projects happening in your city in person. 

What You Need to Know About the Miami Book Fair 2022

This year, the Miami Book Fair will take place in Downtown Miami, along the well-known Miami-Dade College campus. Visitors will get the chance to meet popular authors across multiple genres, which means there’s something for everyone. For those coming with children, there will even be a slew of activities encouraging children to read more. This helps them engage with classic children’s stories that have helped shape minds for generations. Visitors can even buy both new and old books at the fair. When you get hungry, several local businesses will be offering food and drinks throughout the day.

The 2022 Miami Book Fair will go on for an entire week, starting November 13th and ending November 20th, from 10 am to 7 pm. On most days, you’ll have to pay a $10 entry fee, but on Friday, you’ll be able to enter the Miami Book Fair for free.
