How to Use a Portable Restroom?

There is somewhat of a negative stigma attached to portable restrooms, as they are usually known for being smelly, unhygienic and an overall unpleasant experience.

However, that is not always the case. Portable restrooms have come a long way and most of the ones you will come across at major events are likely to be more sanitary and comfortable than before. The YML Team prides itself with providing clean and sanitary facilities. May clients hire our restroom attendant services to ensure the unit is maintained clean, sanitized, and disinfected throughout the event or rental.

Following a few steps to use them properly can make your experience even more pleasant.

  • As soon as you enter the restroom, lock the door behind you. Many units have individual stalls and others have common areas where private stalls are located. Hence, locking the door would save both, you and another guest or person, a lot of embarrassment.
  • Although our units are maintained with the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, it is important to flush the toilet or urinals after each use to prevent odors from developing.
  • To prevent passing germs or any virus to someone attending the event or at the facility where the portable restrooms are located, please wash your hands thoroughly and use the hand sanitizer, if available.

Following these steps will not only make your experience with the portable restroom better, but also anyone else who uses it after you.
