YML Portable Restrooms recently serviced an event with the organization Kakes 4 Kids. The non-profit organization, Kakes 4 Kids supports underprivileged and foster children of all ages by planning birthday parties for them. Many times, foster children are left feeling hopeless and unloved; therefore, the need for an outlet to express themselves. The Kakes 4 Kids program gives sufficient events to fulfill the needs of these children, using their abilities to elevate self-esteem, achievement, and fostering of friendships. With a team made up of only volunteers, Kakes 4 Kids works hard to improve lives.

Ever since its inception in 2009, Kakes 4 Kids has assisted of over 300 children. Any volunteering and/or donations are appreciated, due to the large number of birthdays to celebrate. Feel free to take the time to deliver a bit of love to a child by purchasing a “kake” to celebrate their life. Kakes 4 Kids currently has two locations—Children’s Harbor in Pembroke Pines, and His House in Miami. One of their popular fundraising events is the Superhero 5K coming up in December. Why not help underprivileged kids and have fun while you’re at it? Dress up as your favorite hero and get the chance to receive a prize.
