The Miami International Auto Show, one of the biggest events of its type in the country and a staple of Miami’s automotive scene, will be back this year, from October 15th to the 23rd. At the Miami Beach Convention Center, the show will take up more than a million square feet. It will feature hundreds of brand-new automobiles, SUVs, trucks, electric vehicles, and crossovers.
The event will also feature interactive experiences where select visitors will be allowed to get behind the wheels of their favorite vehicles and take them for a spin.
A Retrospective of the Miami International Auto Show
The South Florida Automobile Dealers Association has been the show’s sponsor since it debuted in 1971. Over the course of its 50-year run, the programme has donated over $7 million to regional causes, with the most recent $400,000 going to a longtime partner, the Ronald McDonald House.
What To Expect This Year
Previous Miami International Auto Show events have brought in crowds of over 300,000 people. This year is expected to be no different. Several major automobile manufacturers will be featured at the show this year. They include Volkswagen, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Lexus, Hyundai, Jeep, and Honda. It even includes staple American brands such as Dodge, Chrysler and Cadillac. Some of these brands may even unveil new models for the very first time, making it an event you don’t want to miss.
There are also a number of interactive experiences that haven’t been officially announced yet. Stay tuned until the event draws closer.
